Insurance & Accessibility

We do not accept insurance but we do Superbill so your insurance can reimburse you for sessions. Most couples therapists don’t—and here’s why: in order to bill insurance, therapists are required to diagnose one person in the relationship. But more often than not, your relationship struggles are not because of a mental health diagnosis—they’re rooted in patterns, pain, and unmet needs that deserve attention without a clinical label. **That said, if you do require insurance reimbursement with SuperBills, one person in your party will require a diagnosis for coverage.

That said, if you’re seeking a diagnosis for individual care, accessibility needs, or collaboration with your care team, we can assess and discuss options.

Cancelation, “No Show” & Time Limit Policy

Missed sessions that aren't cancelled with 48 hour notice will incur the charge of the session. I make one exception per calendar year. Canceling must be done by email or through your client portal. If you do not cancel, it is considered a “no show” for the appointment and you will be charged in full for that appointment. Your therapist will wait 15 minutes before marking you on file as a “no show” for your appointment.

The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 minutes. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your sessions. Requests to change the 50-minute session needs to be discussed with the therapist in order for time to be scheduled in advance.
