Team Therapy
When the Same Meeting Keeps Happening
A four-session program for workplace teams ready to name the pattern behind their communication breakdowns — and build something different, together.
-
Your team doesn't need a diagnosis. It needs a different way of seeing what's happening between you.
This work is a good fit for teams who:
Keep having the same conflict in different clothes
Are navigating a reorg, a leadership change, or a shift to remote or hybrid work
Look fine on paper but feel off in the room
Have tried a team-building day and are ready for something with more depth
Are willing to look at their own patterns and say, "we want something different"

Four 90-minute sessions, spaced a week or two apart, held with one intact team: a department, a leadership group, a pod that already works together. Each session builds on the last.
🔸 Session 1 — Naming the Pattern We map the cycle as a group and take the blame out of it. This isn't about who's right, it's about seeing the shared pattern clearly for the first time.
🔸 Session 2 — Underneath the Reaction We go under the surface behavior to the needs and fears it's been protecting safety, respect, competence, belonging.
🔸 Session 3 — From Pattern to Possibility We build a concrete, observable picture of what "working well" actually looks like, and practice the small moves that get you there.
🔸 Session 4 — Consolidation We turn what's shifted into something that sticks: a short team communication charter, a way to recognize the old pattern if it resurfaces, and a plan for checking in without needing me in the room.

This is organizational consultation that draws on real clinical frameworks — Emotionally Focused Therapy and Solution-Focused practice — to help your team understand and shift how it communicates. It is not group psychotherapy, and it isn't a substitute for HR investigation, performance management, or individual mental health care. If something surfaces that needs a different kind of support, I'll name that clearly and help point your team in the right direction.
Ready to Get Started?
The first step is a free 15-minute consultation call with the person requesting this work — usually a manager, team lead, or HR partner. We'll talk through what's actually happening on your team, what you're hoping is different four sessions from now, and whether this is the right fit before anything is scheduled.
